# Getting help

How to reach Swarmia support, what our AI agent Aimo does, and what you can contact us about.

Our team is happy to help, in whichever way works best for you.

## Contact us

1. **Slack or Microsoft Teams (recommended)**: Paying customers get a free, shared Slack or Microsoft Teams channel that we set up and invite you to, with a typical response time of 1-2 hours. It's the fastest way to reach us, since your whole team can see and follow the conversation right where you already work. Don't have a channel yet? Email <hello@swarmia.com> and we'll set one up.
2. **In-app chat**: Click the **?** icon in the bottom-left corner of Swarmia, then **Need Help? Something is broken?** to start a chat. This requires a verified email address; if your account doesn't have one (for example, some GitHub-authenticated accounts), use the contact form in the same menu, or email us instead.

3. **Email**: <hello@swarmia.com>. Always available, no setup required, and works even if you can't access the app.

## How support works

When you reach out through any of these channels, our support AI agent, Aimo, responds first and tries to help you right away. If Aimo can't fully resolve your question, or you'd simply rather talk to a person, just ask and it'll escalate the conversation to our support engineers. You can typically expect a response within 1-2 hours.

## What can I contact support about?

* **Technical issues**: bugs, integrations, or anything not working as expected
* **Billing and subscription questions**
* **Security documentation**: SOC 2 report, bridge letter, and similar requests
* **Anything else related to using Swarmia**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.swarmia.com/swarmia-support/getting-help.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
